November Turkey Trot Walk and Roll Club

Mr. Turkey walks to school everyday,
no matter what the weather.
He meets Ms. Duck along the way,
and they walk to school together.
"Gobble, gobble, gobble"
"Quack, quack, quack"
They both love walking to Netcong School,
and then they both walk back.
(to the tune of Yankee Doodle)

We are thankful for another Walk and Roll Club on Wednesday, November 12th!

Join us for the Turkey Trot Walk and Roll to School by walking or bicycling to school. Don't use a car, it's not that far.

Netcong Elementary students who walk or bike to school on Walk and Roll Wednesdays will receive a backpack charm. Charms will be handed out in front of the school by the flag pole. Although this is our last Walk and Roll event until March, keep on walking and rolling throughout the winter.

Food for Thought:
As you get ready for a day of family, fun and food consider this, 15 minutes of walking at a moderate pace uses about 100 calories. If you walked 15 minutes each way to and from school every day for a week, you would use an extra 1000 calories.

Happy Thanksgiving!
